At some point, Avia married Izaya the Inheritor and they had a son. During a quiet moment on New Genesis, Avia notes that she has never heard Izaya sing, and requests that he do so for her. However, they are ambushed by Steppenwolf and his Demon-Raiders. Avia is killed in the struggle attempting to protect Izaya. Her death sends the conflict between New Genesis and Apokalips into all-out war.
Little is known about Avia, save that she wore a pair of boots that gave her the ability of flight, and that she wanted to hear Izaya sing.
